Songwriter, Storyteller, and Poet, George Schricker, of Plymouth, Indiana will be performing for ____________________ on ______________________________. Come joing this animated songwriter and storyteller for an evening of warm family fun!
A graduate of Northwestern University in the School of Speech; Mr. Schricker has taken his art into the world of performance. He has been performing his original songs, stories, and poems since 1982. He has given over 1000 performances and workshops and 45 arts residencies with school systems in the Midwest. George has written over 500 songs and has 7 commercial recordings of his music for children and adults. He has just released a new CD of meditative songs and poetry entitled, "The Space."
Most recently, George traveled to Newfoundland, performing for 2 weeks with children and adults in schools and libraries. Also this year, he performed at the Juan de Fuca Festival in Port Angeles, Washington. Other performance highlights include The Field Museum in Chicago, The Indianapolis Children's Museum, and hundreds of schools and festivals across the Midwest.
